I’m sure you have heard of the phrase “pay it forward.” It is a modern version of the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Some others just call this the “ethic of reciprocity.” Any way you say it, it translates into being kind to others. Have an “Infectious” Attitude
Enthusiasm and optimism are infectious, so spread them. Isn’t it mind boggling to think that you can cheer others up by simply being happy yourself? All it takes is one smile, one encouraging word, one motivational speech to change the attitude of the entire group. As a leader, your employees or team members look up to you for guidance and they play off of your attitude. If you show people a negative, pessimistic attitude, they will have the same outlook on the situation.
