Many of us have paid time off over the holidays, but there are those heroes, who either "take one for the team" or are required to work because of the nature of their job. From police officers and emergency workers, to cashiers at the grocery stores, and the food servers bringing others a holiday meal. World Prematurity Day: Honoring Jenny McClendon, Sextuplets and Family
As part of World Prematurity Day, we want to recognize this family, the miracle of sextuplets born on June 11, 2010 and their incredible mother, Jenny McClendon. The babies were born at 30 weeks and were about 2lbs each at birth. Jenny, who you may know from Raising Sextuplets on WEtv, touches on her experience of giving birth to six babies within six minutes, suffering heart failure, and surviving, and is now a mother of nine working as a PA. National Adoption Month
November 2013 is National Adoption Month, a chance to celebrate adoptive families and stand alongside every child still looking for the warmth and stability of a permanent home, according to a Presidential Proclamation by President Barack Obama.
