People think they can work 40-hour weeks, reverse global warming, and then live the high life in retirement. Well, people are wrong. And Shmoop is happy to tell them so.

Then there’s the What Should I Do With My Life? test. Using questions designed to probe values about money, personality, and education, Shmoop will suggest a bunch of career options based on the fancy-ish algorithm explained on their site. From hotel manager to taxidermist, Shmoop matches users with careers that’ll pique their interest—and meet their completely unfounded salary requirements.
At the end of each quiz, students can sort their results by title, salary, or years of training. If they’re psyched by the results (hello, POTUS!) or just amused by ’em (mall Santa, anyone?), they can download a doc to frame on the wall or share the results with their friends, teachers, guidance counselors, or long lost middle school classmates who still follow them on Twitter.
For students who are sick of career tests, Shmoop also offers comprehensive guides to hundreds of careers, from exorcist to hedge fund manager. Students can browse careers by field or salary and grab that professional bull by the horns.
