This month is rich with excellent opportunities to get more out of life! Celebrate the month by taking a chance on something, taking a walk to your favorite spot, encouraging a writer and youth in their studies, protecting the earth, and volunteering to help rebuild for families around the country! Don’t pressure yourself to dive deep into all of these causes, but do scope them out to find out which aligns with your interests and passions. You may just get involved with a great organization where you can volunteer your time or even find your dream career! Check out what April has to offer!
Celebrate the Month:
National Go For Broke Day – Apr 5: Today is a day to take a risk, take a chance. It might be money, a relationship, or a risk in your job. Follow your passions, Go For Broke!
National Walking Day – Apr. 6: We’re becoming less active, which increases our risk of heart disease, stroke and other diseases. Take the first step to a healthier life by taking part in the AHA’s National Walking Day. Take 30 min out of your day to get up and walk.
Encourage a Young Writer Day – Apr 10: Do you know someone young who has a vivid imagination, who likes to tell stories loves reading? Take the day to talk to them about their ideas and dreams, and encourage their in writing.
National Education and Sharing Day – Apr. 19: A day established by President Obama to celebrate our nation’s commitment to education and remind us to encourage our youth in their studies!
National Earth Day – Apr. 22: Celebrate the day and demonstrate support for environmental protection. Do your part to protect our earth’s integrity for all living things.
National Rebuilding Day – Apr. 26: Thousands of volunteers join together to provide much needed and sometimes critical and life-saving repairs, for vulnerable families in various communities.
